Cryptocurrency Firms Now Recognized as Money Service Businesses in Canada
From today onwards, Canadian firms operating with virtual currencies will be legally recognized as Money Service Businesses.

Canada’s cryptocurrency firms were recognised as Money Service Businesses (MSB) as of June 1st. This adds legitimacy to Canadian cryptocurrency firms via regulations and gives relief to the previously unregulated market of virtual currency dealers there.

The month of June 2020 will be remembered at GateHub by the launch of PayID. A new open-source protocol that uses human-readable identifiers much like email for payments. Be sure to also check out our press release and blog if you haven’t already.
